优点:
小鹏G3最让人印象深刻的,是它当年那些现在看来依旧能打的智能配置。特别是车顶那个可以升降的360度摄像头,拍照、观察路况都挺有意思,这个设计到现在看都很有辨识度。它的自动泊车,在当年同价位里确实是“黑科技”一样的存在,对新手非常友好。
性价比曾经是它的王牌。在智能驾驶辅助和车机系统这块,它用十几万的价格,给了当时很多二三十万车型才有的体验。高通骁龙820A芯片让车机流畅度不错,语音助手识别率也高,整体智能化体验是它早期最大的卖点。

The Good:
The most memorable thing about the XPeng G3 is its smart features, which still hold up today. The 360-degree camera that pops up from the roof is particularly interesting for taking photos or checking blind spots—a design that remains unique even now. Its automated parking assist was genuinely cutting-edge for its price at the time, a real boon for new drivers.
Value for money was its trump card. Back then, it offered advanced driver-assistance systems and an infotainment experience that many cars costing twice as much didn't have. The Snapdragon 820A chip kept the system smooth, and the voice assistant was accurate. The overall smart experience was its biggest early selling point.
It's easy and comfortable to drive. The steering is light, power delivery is quick, and it's stress-free to pilot, making it very handy for city commuting. While the chassis tuning isn't sophisticated, the ride is comfortable enough for a family car. Its range was also mainstream for its era, sufficient for daily commutes and short trips.
The Not-So-Good:
The most obvious issues are space and practicality. Although positioned as a compact SUV, its rear seat and trunk space are quite tight, especially compared to today's "space magician" competitors. It can feel cramped if you often need to carry a full load.
The design is divisive. People either love or hate the massive front windshield—it doesget hot in summer. The unique roofline also compromises rear headroom. The interior uses a lot of hard plastics, so the sense of quality and luxury lags behind newer models.
It faces immense market pressure. This is its biggest challenge now. The smart features the G3 once championed have become standard fare in rivals from BYD, Aion, and even XPeng's own newer models, which often offer more space, range, and better cost efficiency. But the auto market evolves fast. Today's rivals in this segment are more aggressive on space, range, and interior quality. Choosing the G3 now means paying for its core smart experience and value, but also accepting its compromises in space and design, and the reality that, as a "first wave" EV, its overall package is being overtaken.
